The Elmwood Art Club won the Tapigami contest at the Gurnee 56 School Maker Faire on Wednesday, March 20. Their entry, Jabba the Hutt, was made entirely out of masking tape and colored with permanent marker. Club members worked as a team to plan and create their sculpture. Their hard work paid off when attendees voted for their favorite Tapigami sculpture and Elmwood's sculpture (Jabba the Hutt) won by a landslide!
