Posted on 02/12/2018

We are in high flu season at this time.
Please don’t send your child(ren) to school if they have any of the flu symptoms.

  • Coughing
  • Headache
  • Chest Discomfort
  • Sore throat
  • Runny or stuffy nose
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Fatigue (tiredness)
  • Vomiting and diarrhea, although this is more common in children than adults
  • Fever or feeling feverish/chills (not everyone with flu will have fever

If your child has a fever, they must stay home fever-free, without fever medications, for 24 hours before returning to school.

Please remember to call in absences and if your child has fever or flu like symptoms make sure you report it to the school.

We also have partnered with Lake County Health Department to document flu statistics.
